It’s just started... A marvelous ride to kick off this winter.

Every rider awaits for this season when Sun offers some mercy and wearing the heavy riding gears is not annoying. Royal Enfield Club Noida planned an adventurous ride on 11th and 12th, Nov 2017 to a camp site in Panjhal, Nahan – Himachal Valley. The flag off was planned at 5:30 AM from Noida metro sector 16. The excitement of the riders could be judged with the fact that all 18 riders reached the flag off site way early than the meeting time. Royal Enfield’s were prepared to beat the Delhi Fog. Fog lights were on, Hazard lights were blinking and engines were rumbling on that chilly winter morning.  The first lap of 110 KM till Panipat toll plaza was bone chilling. Everyone needed a hot cup of tea – Not as a beverage, but to warm their handsJ. We were ready to hit the road again after a scrumptious breakfast. The ride till Nahan was easy – smooth road, nice weather conditions, no break down, in time and no traffic. Excitement was increased when we took a narrow trail to the Camp site from the Nahan – Renuka ji road. Riding thru the jungle on that narrow trail was thrilling. Riders are always crazy for Off Roads but no one knew that this ride will offer one. We struggled a little to find the camp site in the jungle as there were no sign boards.

We reached the beautiful camp site at 3:30 PM after an enjoyable ride thru highways, hills and hidden juggle trails. The camp was located in the mid of a valley and looked like a pleasant place to relax after a 10 hour ride. Riders got loosened up and moved to their relaxing tents. All spent a relaxed time listing music, talking to fellow riders, knowing each other after lunch. The Bonfire was lit as the Sun disappeared. What could be better than a burning log in a chilly winter evening with friends at a jungle campsite. This is what most of the people crave for - A time away from city hustle with friends those follow the same passion – Royal Enfield Ride. A bonfire party is incomplete without the dance moves. Every rider tried their weird dance moves along the fire. After all it was a guy’s party, no one wanted to behave as a suited Gentleman.  We enjoyed the dinner with funny riding tales under the glittering stars.

The ride was not over. We woke up next morning and got ready to ride to Renuka ji temple and lake. Road to Renuka ji was even exhilarating. Rode gently on the cures of Himalayas to reach the temple. It is a God Prashuram temple along a big natural lake. We spent a little time there and quickly moved back for our return journey. Everyone decided to ride the bike as far as we can before lunch. It was a long ride till Shahbad when we stopped for lunch after leaving Nahan. Food breaks are relaxing after long rides. Riding back on NH1 was again an off road experience that day. Traffic was at its peak and we had to ride off the road limits. It was a slow ride to back home. Royal Enfield Club Noida is back now with a bucket full of memories and adventures experiences.

The Best this about MEMORIES is making them. Ride more to collect more MEMORIES!

Jungle Night ride to Kotdwar/Lansdown

Jungle Night - Royal Enfield Club Noida spent another brotherhood moment 'In to the Wild' like a 'A Royal Night Out'. REC Noida always believe to ride to offbeat locations that offer beauty of Mother Nature and Comfort of a King. It was early morning of 9th Sep 2017, the Sun was trying to have a peep over the horizon. Super 30 Royal Enfield riders were all set to roll their wheels to a luxury river side camp located in Dugadda, Kotdrwar. The flag off site was brightened by 30 bike head lights and the location became picturesque. Passing by people could not stop themselves to click selfies with our decorated convoy. We rode in our meticulous fashion with 1 lead, 1 tail, 5 marshals, and 23 disciplined riders thru the streets of Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bijnor and Najibabad.  One of our riders encountered a major bike break down in Meerut. Rear break assembly was broken that jammed the the mid of nowhere. Even after this breakdown, the biker was relaxed and showed no worries. His words were –“Why to worry when Super 30 are there to help you in every odd situation. This is the BROTHERHOOD
We reached the camp site in Dugadda at 4:00 PM, parked our thunder machines and left ourselves free in the cozy lap of nature. As soon as we entered the camp site, we saw the green tents surrounded by lush green trees. A gentle river stream was flowing near the camp area. In no time, riders got rid of their riding gears and jumped in to the crystal clear river. Few hopped over a rock inside the river and few taken the Pool table under control. It looked like each one had something to relish. As the sky turned red at dusk, music was set loud and everyone tried their unique dance steps to rock the floor. Each rider introduced himself and shared his riding story with the other club members.  No one wanted the party to be over, we danced till the last breath and celebrated the brotherhood together.

The enjoyment was not over. Next morning, few riders entered the river again to test their swimming skills. Many preferred to visit the nearby hill station Lansdown. We started our mean machines to head back to Noida at 11:00. Ride is always a fun but return rides are most difficult thing in this world. No one wanted to leave that calm and peaceful place. The only motivation during return ride was the rumbling sound of each bike that energize to ride hard and continuous view of decorated convoy that keeps the passion on. We are back now with with lots of memories and many happy faces.

Keep on Riding, Keep on Inspiring. GodSpeed!!

Independence Day - Serve the Hungry

15th Aug, 2017, 70th Independence Day – We ride for passion, we ride for brotherhood; this Independence day, we rode for Humanity. Royal Enfield club Noida ought to plan a special ride as it was a special day. We generously volunteered our support to Robin Hood Army Noida to serve food and juices to less fortunate people of slum areas near Delhi.  Robin Hood Army is a volunteer based organization that work to get surplus food from restaurants and feed the less fortunate people across India and Pakistan. They organised campaign #Mission1Million – ‘The Largest War Against Hunger’ to serve food to 1 million needy across border. Royal Enfield Club Noida became the official Ride partner for this event in Noida and offered Juices and water bottles along with volunteer support.

The city looked painted with Indian flag tri-color. Cars, bikes, autos, buildings were waving the national flag. We could hear the national patriotic songs from nearby residential areas. Everyone was celebrating the 70th Independence day. Entire scene was patriotic and giving the sense of pride. 41 Royal Enfield bikes decorated with Indian National flags rode thru the streets of Noida to reach a slum area Madanpur Khadar. Our riders volunteered their service to serve food, water and juices to the deprived people of society. Some of the volunteers were managing the people in queue so that food can be distributed easily. It took about an hour and we served food to almost every thin and lean in that area.
Many riders joined with their family and kids to this act of compassion. It was a pleasure to participate in a Charity event but we left that place with many unanswered question in our mind –We are still in the clutches of Poverty and Illiteracy. Are we really free after 7 decades of independence?

Give More, Give Better. Humanity Prevails!
